Singer/Songwriter (lightcraft), PR Associate (12WIRED)
Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, Imam has been active in the music industry for more than 15 years. As the brains behind anthemic indie-rock band lightcraft, he is responsible for their distinctive sound and forays abroad, which has seen them perform at various international festivals and tour across 15 countries, including SXSW, Liverpool Sound City, and many others.
Outside of lightcraft, Imam worked in the media industry before leaving in 2016, his last position being the managing editor for an English-language lifestyle magazine. He is currently the PR associate for music company 12WIRED, and also a freelance editor, writer, proofreader, and translator on the side.
Anthemic indie-rock quartet lightcraft were formed in 2005 and have since put out seven releases so far, with the latest being their third album “Us Is All” in 2019. Their distinctive sound and energetic live performances have taken the band across fifteen countries where they have performed at major international festivals and on renowned stages, including SXSW, Liverpool Sound City, V-Rox, Taihu Midi Festival, MUSEXPO, Big Mountain Music Festival, Monsoon Music Festival, Canadian Music Week, Music Matters Live, Zandari Festa, Baybeats Music Festival, Playtime Festival, Sakurazaka Asylum and many others.
