Chua Jian Xin Jonathan or better known as Jon Chua JX is a member and founder of The Sam Willows, arguably the most successful English music act in Singapore history. He has been nominated twice for a MTV EMA for “Best Southeast Asian Act” and won several music awards in Singapore and around the region. As a Sony Music Artist, Jon has worked with the best music producers in the world, including Steve Lillywhite (U2, Rolling Stones),Harry Sommerdahl (Pussycat Dolls, The Wanted), Freddy Häggstam (The Chainsmokers, Girl’s Generation). His own band’s compositions have gone on to earn several platinum & gold accreditations and topping radio, Spotify & iTunes charts at number one.
Jon is a music producer with Zendyll Productions, and has gone on to produce music with local and regional artists. He has vast experience in the creation and selling of music to different demographics around the region. He has also directed and produced several video production works. His knowledge of music and the business also saw him being invited to guest judge at music competitions, and lecture at creative workshops.
In 2018, Jon launched his own record label, Zendyll Records, signing the top songwriters and producers in Singapore. His record label represents music publishing for The Sam Willows, Charlie Lim, Nathan Hartono, JSON, Evanturetime and many more for music publishing.

Jon Chua launched Zendyll Production back in January 2016, and built his own modern state-of-the-art recording studio in the heart of Novena area. Zendyll Productions began as a music production studio with top music producers; focusing on advertisements, film-scoring, recordings and animation audio. The company has an extensive portfolio of past works for Disney, Adidas, Changi Airport, Lego and many more.
As Zendyll Productions grew as a music and audio production company, Jon felt that his heart was still with the commercial pop music industry, and launched Zendyll Records in December 2018. With the launch of Zendyll Records, he successfully signed the top artist-songwriters such as Sezairi, Nathan Hartono, Charlie Lim as well as top producers J.SON, DJ Koflow for music publishing. In January 2019, the record label announced that they were signing former Japanese Idol; Estelle Fly to a full record and management deal.
The company also handles A&R for major labels such as Sony Music, and Indie Labels across Southeast Asia in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and The Philippines.
In March 2019, Zendyll Records announced its first international signing, Los Angeles Melodic Rapper ; Flannel Albert.
In September 2019, Zendyll Records partnered up with HUGO to build the “Made In Singapore” show with a mix of Music Matters’ alumni and the next generation of performers. The show drew in over 900 attendees and was the biggest draw of the entire 6-days music festival.
